Sustainability Planning
SCS has a wealth of knowledge through the deployment of experienced and qualified logistics specialists to support UK MoD and UK industry in sustainability planning. We have deployed data analysts and logistics modellers in support of major MoD programmes such as Priming Equipment Packs (PEPs) and to UK MoD DE&S Inventory Optimisation in the Joint Supply Chain (JSC).
We are able to provide real benefit to clients through using our operational experience and knowledge of the constraints faced on high tempo operations, combined with our detailed understanding of current and developing Support Chain processes, systems and doctrine. SCS are highly supportive of the drive to Through Life Capability Management (TLCM) and the key role that sustainability planning and availability management has. In the wider Availability Management sphere, SCS can bring a deep understanding of the benefits of Health and Usage Monitoring systems in the military context and the information required from them to positively contribute to operational capability.
